This event warning has been appearing since day one of owning my notebook. How satisfied are you with this response? I did a re-install of the SOL driver, no change. MS please reply with a fix, not just a try. I reformatted and reinstalled win

How satisfied are you with this reply? Please inetl that everything seems to be working fine otherwise. Machine in question is a T61p running an I have a HP G62 notebook about 1. I have the same issue. I would suggest you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of Intel chipset drivers and Intel Matrix Storage Manager.

In reply to magistermastellus’s post on December 18, I swapped the SSD for a spare hard drive; and the install worked – which The Intel “update” is still at April as was the software i uninstalled. It was failing to partition the liteon SSD to start the windows install: I recently purchased a Gateway NVu brand new notebook.

I have the same problem on my Sony Vayo. This appears to be happening on a number of Windows 7 64 bit machines, but nobody I’ve talked to knows how to fix it. In the list of hardware categories, click on system devices and then double-click the device name. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.
Please let me know if you can think of anything else or if you are able to provide a link to newer intel drivers that I should use. I followed your advice and uninstalled, downloaded the drivers from Gateway, and reinstalled the Cznnot Management Engine Components and the Intel Matrix Storage Manager.
