This delicious pie is made the old fashioned way with two crusts. If you are looking for a delicious fruit pie this is the recipe for you. This peach pie recipe uses fresh, recette tarte framboise

peeled peaches and is tart, tangy and sweet. It is great to serve as a dessert after a meal, or on its own.

Ingredients for Peach Pie Recipe:
– 1 package of pastry for a 9 inch pasty crust – 15 ounces
– 1 egg that is beaten
– 5 cups of slice, peeled peaches
– 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
– ½ cup of all purpose flour
– 1 cup white sugar
– ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
– ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 2 tablespoons butter

Directions for Peach Pie Recipe:
– Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
– Line the bottom and the sides of a 9 inch pie plate with one of the pie crusts
– Brush with some of the beaten egg
– Place the sliced peaches in a large bowl
– Sprinkle with lemon juice
– Mix gently
– In a separate bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
– Pour over the peaches
– Mix gently
– Pour into the pie crust
– Dot with butter
– Cover with the other pie crust
– Fold the edges under
– Flute the edges and seal or press the edges with a fork
– Brush the remaining egg over the top crust
– Cut several slits into the top crust
– Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven
– Reduce heat to 350 degree and bake for an additional 30 to 35 minutes
– If the edges are starting to brown fast, cover them with strips of aluminum foil
– Cool before serving
